I haven’t read Unacceptable Risk just yet. I want to because I have just read the prequel and I know I’ll love the book. So, Plix is human but has droid parts? I could feel the connection that Edison and Plix have just in that short story! Everything you write Jeannette is amazing. Not surprising since all your stories I’ve read on FFN always suck me in and never let go!

Pretty much! She lives in a high-tech world where cybernetic enhancements are fairly common, and she’s gotten quite a few of them to help her in her quest.
